Energy Efficiency

Are Quooker Taps Energy Efficient?

Quooker taps are highly energy efficient and use far less energy than a kettle due to only dispensing the necessary amount of filtered water at a time. Quooker water tanks also work as an electrical flask by retaining any water that’s kept at 110 degrees under pressure. This means the drinking water can be kept hot without having to use more energy, helping to save you money on your home’s energy bills.

Are Quooker Taps worth it?

The Price of Quooker

How much is a Quooker Tap?

The price of a Quooker tap depends on the model, finish, tap and tank you choose to integrate within your sink. Although installing a Quooker tap is initially more expensive than your traditional kettle, the maintenance costs are significantly lower and they consume a small amount of energy costing as little as 3p per day.

Enhanced Safety

Are Quooker Taps Safe?

Quooker boiling water taps come with plenty of safety features and mechanisms to prevent the risk of water accidents and burns most importantly for small children. One of the key safety features of installing a Quooker tap within your kitchen or bathroom is that it requires the user to press the handle twice and twist the knob to ensure that hot water is not easily dispensed.

Service & Maintenance

Do Quooker Taps need Servicing?

A Quooker tap does not require regular maintenance and servicing, yet if you are based in an area with hard water, then we would recommend descaling and servicing the system throughout its lifetime.

If you do find that your Quooker system has a build-up of limescale, causing the hot and cold water flow to slow down, then screw off the nozzle cap and soak the aerator in vinegar for an hour. Once you have soaked the nozzle cap, clean off the limescale and screw it back onto the Quooker tap
