Hanex UK provides awards for the Surface Design Awards 2024 and sponsors lighting and Surface Category.

The Surface Design Awards honour outstanding achievements in both interior and exterior design, recognising innovative and sustainable projects.

This year the awards received over 160 entries across an unprecedented 20 countries, ensuring the awards continue to gain worldwide recognition and establish a standard for international achievements in architecture and design.

The entrants have highlighted the most remarkable use of materials in both architectural and interior projects, and the finalists stand as beacons of creative ingenuity, spotlighting a global tapestry of visionary design excellence, with a significant emphasis on sustainability.

The Awards

This years awards have been manufactured from reclaimed material from the Hanex Solid Surface fabrication process. Each award is unique and no 2 awards are the same colour. The process reminds us to be mindful of our waste, even when manufacturing and showing the beauty that can be created from something which was in the bin and destined for landfill.

Fabricated by Eric Wilson the awards have each winner’s name, the surface design logo and 2024 inlayed into the solid surface.
