Fire Rating Solid Surfaces

When choosing a solid surface, safety is just as important as style and durability. Hanex® solid surfaces are designed with fire safety in mind, achieving a Euroclass B – s1, d0 fire rating as standard. This means they offer enhanced fire resistance, producing low smoke emissions and minimal flaming droplets in the event of a fire.

Whatever the space you can trust that Hanex Solid Surfaces will provide reassurance that your interiors meet high safety standards while maintaining a luxurious and durable finish.

Benefits and Features of Hanex® Solid Worktops

Non-porous & Antibacterial

Hanex® solid surfaces are impervious to the growth of:

Bacteria

The non-porous characteristics of Hanex® greatly reduce cleaning and maintenance costs. This is achieved by having such a high mineral content and by using smaller particle sizes within its composition than most other manufacturers.

Chemical and Stain Resistant

Hanex® solid surfaces are resistant to:

Surface marking
Graffiti
Iodine
UV
Chemical damage

Our products are easily cleaned and an ideal choice for healthcare, hospitality, offices, food preparation, public buildings and education.

Endless Design Possibilities

The properties of Hanex® solid surface materials means it can realise various designs through processes including:

Seamless jointing
Machining
2D & 3D Thermoforming
Backlighting
Engraving
Coloured inlays
Sublimation Printing

With the inherent amorphous nature of Hanex® , complex designs are easily achievable. Set your creativity free.

Kinder to The Environment

During the production of Hanex® we use a high mineral content in order to reduce our use of acrylic and be kinder to the environment.

We use of 100% recycled water, rather than a chemical process; which is used by other brands on the market, during the manufacturing process.

Use of recycled chips, enables us to conform to SCS stands and ensures minimal ‘B’ grade material.

Recyclable – the ability to renew, reuse and repair increased the product lifecycle.
