ON – 001 Lunar White Onyx
OnyxA white marble with subtle veining in shades of white creating a unique and elegant look. Lunar White Onyx is a cool, moonlit white colour with delicate veins of white reminiscent of the night sky.
When backlit the colour has almost a luminous quality, like the soft glow of the moon, and may appear slightly opalescent or iridescent, like the play of light on a pearl. It may have a subtle translucency, allowing light to pass through and creating a sense of depth and dimension.
Luna White Onyx is a sophisticated and ethereal colour, evocative of the beauty and mystery of the natural world. It might be a popular choice for interiors, especially in spaces where a sense of luxury and elegance is desired.

Frequently Asked Questions
Hanex Solid Surface sheets are typically manufactured in 12mm thickness as standard. This offers the ideal balance between strength, flexibility, and ease of fabrication—especially for seamless joins and thermoforming. Other thicknesses, such as 6mm are available for specialist applications or vertical surfaces, but 12mm is the most commonly specified for worktops, counters, and integrated installations.
No. Hanex is inherently non-porous, so it doesn’t require sealing or resealing—unlike granite or marble.
Hanex inhibits the growth of bacteria thanks to its non-porous, seamless finish. While it doesn’t contain active antimicrobial agents, it’s easy to clean and doesn’t harbour germs.
It’s durable, but not scratch-proof. Always use a chopping board to protect the surface. If scratches occur, they can often be sanded out or refinished.
No. Hanex is heat-resistant up to around 100 °C (212 °F), but direct contact with hot cookware or heat-generating appliances can cause discolouration or cracking. Always use a trivet or heat pad.
Avoid harsh chemicals such as oven cleaners, paint removers, drain cleaners, or acetone. If any of these come into contact with the surface, rinse immediately with water to prevent damage or discolouration.
While solid surface countertops are durable and long-lasting, it is possible to scratch them if not cared for properly. Discover our guide with professional advice on how to care for your solid surface countertop here.
Non-abrasive, ammonia-based cleaners or regular household countertop cleaners are safe to use on your solid surface countertop.
